RED has collaborated with Angelbird Technologies to create the official RED PRO CFexpress v4 Type B 1 TB and 2 TB cards, specifically designed for use with the RED V-RAPTOR and KOMODO-X systems. These cards are the approved, RED-certified media cards for these cameras, providing high-performance and durability for precision recording of high bit-rate files.
The CFexpress v4 Type B compliant cards offer increased read and write speeds, resulting in faster offload times when used with the RED PRO CFexpress v4 Type B Card Reader. These media cards have undergone extensive testing to ensure optimized performance and reliability, and come with an extended 3 year limited warranty provided by Angelbird in Austria, including individualized customer service, technical support, and free data recovery service. It is recommended to activate the product warranty within 30 days of purchase on Angelbirds website, and note that the media is supported in firmware 2.0.4 beta or later.
