The MPO harnesses provide breakout from MPO-12 connectors to 12 FC simplex connectors, whose assemblies are factory terminated and tested to deliver verified optical performance and reliability for improved network integrity. 
The MPO-FC cable is designed to switch from duplex applications, like 10G and 25G Ethernet. It can also be used for parallel optics applications, such as 40G and 100G Ethernet. It is widely used in high-density cabling applications in data centers, local area networks, equipment rooms, and telecommunication rooms, among others.
